CitiesAlive 2022: The Homecoming – Registration Now Open!

CitiesAlive is back in 2022 from Sunday October 16th to Wednesday October 19th in Philadelphia at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Philadelphia Center City.

We have just launched registration and the full agenda so – buy your tickets before Friday September 9th and get the early bird special to save money!

CitiesAlive 2022 will be a multidisciplinary conference where we will be highlighting innovative green roof designs, groundbreaking policies, and the best products and services in the green infrastructure industry, specifically focusing on green roofs and walls. The conference is pending approval for 11.5 Continuing Education Credits for ASLA, AIA, BOMI, IIBEC, and GRP.

“After three long years we are thrilled to be returning to an in person CitiesAlive conference in Philadelphia, a leader in green infrastructure,” said Mathew Barmore, Chair of Green Roofs for Healthy Cities. “The agenda reflects multiple advancements with green roof and wall technology, which is so critical for cities struggling to adapt to climate change,” he added.

The early bird special won’t last forever, after Friday September 9th, tickets will be $475 for GRHC members, and $525 for non-members. Register to get the early bird special. GRHC is also happy to offer discounted hotel rooms from October 15-20th at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Philadelphia Center City. Make sure to book your hotel room before they sell out! The hotel is very conveniently located so you can get dressed, take an elevator down, and learn the latest in the green roof industry! The hotel also has an on site restaurant, so you can maximize your networking opportunities!

“Working closely with the City and the Water Center at Penn U, we have an outstanding program that will explore water management in a changing climate and many of the social equity dimensions of green infrastructure deployment.” said Steven Peck, GRP, Founder and President, Green Roofs for Healthy Cities. “We also have a biophilic design workshop, and a Green Infrastructure Charrette so designers can roll up their sleeves, as well as a fantastic Homecoming Networking Cruise in the Delaware River planned for Oct. 18th”, he added.

CitiesAlive will feature various opportunities for attendees to network and engage with experts like design professionals in the field. CitiesAlive will provide you with a unique opportunity to identify and conduct Business to Business and Business to Consumer transactions, to network, and to have fun and learn. Our specialized programming is focused on engaging young design professionals and students who are the specifiers, designers, and researchers and policy makers of tomorrow.
