The Projects Database landing page is the second most visited page of our website, after the Homepage. Our goal here is to easily display our comprehensive body of global projects searchable by type, date of completion, geographic location, designer, manufacturer, etc. There are currently over 1,750 projects worldwide in the database, with more added everyday.

And now we’ve added a new, interactive map displaying all the Projects Database case studies using the most powerful map engine – Google Maps.

“Google Maps is a Web-based service that provides detailed information about geographical regions and sites around the world. In addition to conventional road maps, Google Maps offers aerial and satellite views of many places. In some cities, Google Maps offers street views comprising photographs taken from vehicles.”Wikipedia

Following is the circular pin color legend corresponding to the number of Projects existing in the Database for that particular location on the map. As you zoom in, the pin colors will change accordingly:

  • Orange – more than 100 projects
  • Olive Green – 11 to 99 projects
  • Teal – 2 to 10 projects
  • Red – One project

Once you get down to a Red pin, then you can click it to open a separate dialog box that will display a “View Profile” button that will allow you to read more information about this particular project.
