At 24.5 acres, Millennium Park is considered either the largest or one of the largest intensive greenroof projects in the world. At a total project cost of $475 million, it incorporates landscape art, full-size trees and a skating rink, the roof covers two parking garages, a transit center and a 1,525-seat indoor performance center.
