Hawkins Partners (HPI), a Nashville based firm, provided landscape architectural services for The Pinnacle, an office and retail tower, located in downtown Nashville. Installed in July of 2009, the building is expected to receive silver LEED certification, the first in downtown Nashville.
"HPI was responsible for a 29,000 SF green roof with gathering areas that incorporate reflective pavers to reduce heat gain. The site provides all parking in a structured garage. The landscaping is a native and adapted species plant palette with a water efficient irrigation system, (Hawkins Partners, Inc., 2009). |
