The Green Roof Institute is owned by the association SGIA, which formed our company in 2001. The association SGIA was formed with the aim of creating a network for research at Augustenborgs Botaniska Takträdgård in Malmö, which opened to the public the same year.

We have created two different series (a total of 7 webinars) that you can choose freely from, but you get the most out of them if you follow an entire series. Our webinars on green roofs are about how to design, construct and maintain green roofs. Our webinars on trees are about the value of trees in urban development.

Our webinar series on green roofs is aimed at clients, managers, maintenance staff, builders and others who are responsible for a green roof.

Green roofs deliver a variety of ecosystem services. The goal of the webinar series is that you will in a simple and clear way bring with your knowledge to be able to decide how you design, construct and maintain your green roof so it will both be sustainable and deliver the desired benefits.

It is possible to go one of the times or be present on all three occasions, and on all occasions, there is the opportunity to ask questions.
