| The green roofs of the Kin residence consist of a 2.5-inch to 3.0-inch thick un-irrigated Roofscapes Type I: Flower Carpet assembly. All roof areas are pitched. The areas covered with the green roof have pitches ranging up to 20 percent. Locally, the eaves are designed to allow runoff from the green roof to form a curtain. The first phase of the project was completed in 2000 and is well-established. The second phase was planned for completion in 2004. |
