| Different greenroof systems have been popular in Italy for many years, and this private residence is located near Milan. The owner, Antonio Radaelli, wanted to convert previously unused space into an area for entertaining, relaxation and gardening. |

| The relatively small roof area of 60 m2 over his double garage was turned into a garden with the ZinCo Floradrain FD 60 build-up system. Although the Floradrain system provides high capacity water storage, a greenroof garden such as this one would still require regular maintenance. |
