|The Waukesha County Technical College (WCTC) has two types of vegetative roofs, one sloped and one flat. The greenroofs are meant to living labs for the students on campus.|
The sloped greenroof was completed on July 19, 2010. Sempergreen pre-vegetated sedum mats were chosen to achieve a high percentage of vegetation coverage upon installation. Since the green roof surface is sloped at 3:12, it was important to reduce the chance of wind erosion and to choose for the lowest maintenance green roof option possible.
