| The 800 square foot Benson Residence greenroof is set in 12" of soil with a Hayfield grass mix. The roof is very heavy with a timer frame, built into the hillside on a dairy farm. The homeowners designed and planted the roof themselves and the 12-inch native soil was seeded by the owners to standard hay mix ? orchard grass, red clover, and timothy. |
