The $60 million LEED Certified Hauenstein Neuroscience Center at Saint Mary’s is the first neurological center in the country to provide inpatient and outpatient services, care and research under one roof. The center offers easy access to treatment and support for neurological disorders such as epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease and ALS, with inpatient and outpatient diagnosis, treatment and management for the range of neurological disorders.

The Hauenstein Neuroscience Center at Saint Mary’s Health Care has a LiveRoof greenroof system. Installed on September 15, 2008, it uses the LiveRoof® Standard System. Rooms on the south side of the facility overlook the emergency department’s green roof.
