Completed in the fall of 2009, the Burgundy Place at the Gateway greenroof sits over retail space serving residents of a 3-story condominium above. The architect’s website (below) of Miller Dunwiddie states, “Burgundy Place at The Gateway is the first project of a major redevelopment of the Pentagon Park area of Edina. Taking advantage of its location adjacent to a golf course and Highway 100, the Gateway is a 4 level mixed-use development with 36 units of housing above street level retail and enclosed parking.
“All residential units offer a contemporary design with abundant glass with views to the adjacent gold course or nearby park reserve. Balconies and common areas provide residents with interior and exterior gathering spaces. The project features innovative storm water management through a green roof, landscape design and permeable paver service area.”
The Burgundy Place at the Gateway mixed-use (retail & housing) development’s greenroof is open to housing residents.
