Every day we live on this planet, the only one we know of at the moment which can sustain human life, but are we thriving? How could its health and prosperity NOT be our #1 goal? Let’s continue to work together to cool down our warming planet with living architecture and green infrastructure.

For Earth Day 2023, how did you celebrate? Here at Greenroofs.com we followed “Think Globally, Act Locally” by spending the afternoon enjoying the “Nature Talks and Walks for Earth Day” at the Longboat Island Chapel here on Sarasota Bay. Since we promote the work of many involved in green infrastructure at higher levels as well as greenroofs and greenwalls specifically, you can also learn about Green Roofs for Healthy Cities’ regional 2023 Grey to Green Conferences, the U.S. EPA Heat Island Reduction Program, and Treehugger’s round-up of stories in Happy Earth Day!
