Both Grey to Green Conferences Open for Registration

The Grey to Green Conferences are hosted by Green Roofs for Healthy Cities and the Green Infrastructure Foundation and focus on green infrastructure implementation and resilience.  The Grey to Green Conferences will explore the latest in design, installation, research, and policy as we shift investment and resources towards future-proofing our buildings and communities.

Two Grey to Green Conferences means two chances at insightful keynote speakers, over 30 educational and training courses taught by leading industry professionals, tours of the greatest green roofs and walls the regions have to offer, and two chances to see the most innovative products exhibitors have to offer.

Minnesota and the Greater MSP Region are already a global center for water system technologies and there are multiple organizations and programs that support the use of green infrastructure in projects of all types and sizes.  Grey to Green: Twin Cities is a unique opportunity to cross-pollinate regional work on green infrastructure in Minnesota with the cutting edge work being done in Canada and in other U.S. cities.

Chesapeake Bay has provided an important focal point for many of the innovative policies and programs that have been implemented to accelerate the adoption of green infrastructure in the D.C. Metro Region.  The Chesapeake Bay Watershed, home to more than 18 million people, is distinctly susceptible to the impacts of climate change—particularly to increasing flooding and more intense rainstorms.  Although much as been accomplished, few localities have considered how to site and utilize green infrastructure practices more strategically for stormwater management in a changing climate.

Grey to Green: D.C. Metro Region Conference will shine a spotlight on the best practices in policy, design, financing, research and maintenance from across the region and beyond.
