This is one of the most time-edited categories of my 2018 Top 10 Hot List at CitiesAlive in Brooklyn:

I had wanted to show these first two New York and New Jersey firms who were some of the true CEA forerunners before I got into the newbies, but had to cut them out.  So, here we go.

NOTE: I must say, however, that Lufa Farms based in Montreal certainly needs to be acknowledged as one of these CEA pioneers, too, along with others – perhaps in another post!
