We are very sad to announce the recent passing of two wonderful gentlemen within our greenroof and greenwall industry:

Professor Xianmin Wang of the International Rooftop Landscaping Association in Beijing, China (left) and Dr. Mark Simmons of the Austin Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center in Texas (right).

Both men died at the end of August, and our hearts go out to their respective families and colleagues across the globe!

We have been compiling comments and some photos from associatess and will post individual In Memoriam reflections for each starting tomorrow.
