The Hydropack green roof system by Vegetal i.D. was installed on top of a new classroom at the Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) to provide a better insulation for the building and some stormwater retention capabilities.

The Hydropack trays came fully vegetated and were secured on the roof thanks to its innovative interlocking system.
