The Cube, situated in Sheffield?s Cultural Industries Quarter (CIQ) is an excellent example of how housing can assist a high growth sector of the economy by linking flexible housing with business development. The Cube live/work features 53 apartments with 6,000 sq.ft. of business accommodation on the ground floor.
Green Roof Elements: Extensive wildflower roof with locally sourced substrate (70% crushed brick to 30% compost). Substrate was spread unevenly to create an undulating landscape.
