The Centre for Ecological and Evolutionary Studies (CEES) is a research institute in the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences at the University of Groningen. CEES embraces nine research groups, all located at the Linnaeusborg on the Zernike science campus.

The Linnaeusborg (Building “U”, as indicated by capital U on the red signs) is situated at the Zernike Science Campus to the north of the city of Groningen.

Completed on April 1, 2010, the Rijks Universiteit Groningen (University of Groningen) has roof slopes ranging from 8 to 23 degrees. For the CEES project, the following ZinCo products were used, supplied by ZinCo Benelux:
