Located at 1440 Formosa Street, West Hollywood, CA, this approximately 4,600 square foot pocket park was completed in August, 2009. It was created in conjunction with an adjacent condominium project via a 99 year ground lease. The City designed, constructed, and maintains Formosa Park. Formosa Park is a passive use park, providing unique areas for the public to enjoy as relief from a densely populated urban setting. Formosa Park is fenced, closing daily at sunset and opening at 9:00 am weekdays and 10:00 am weekends. The overstructure greenroof park was completed on June 15, 2009 and the West Hollywood Formosa Park Ribbon Cutting was held on August 15, 2009.
