The Swiss Ambassador’s Residence in Washington, D.C. is a contemporary green home using recycled building materials and installing a 2,000-square-foot green roof of sedum. Located next to the Switzerland Embassy, on a prime hilltop site in the Woodley Park section of town, the almost 14,000-square-foot house was designed by American Architect Steven Holl.
