Completed on May 20, 2005, this four square residence is an ecological remodel incorporating reused materials, rain harvesting, and maximized natural lighting. The homeowners chose an ecoroof for aesthetic and environmental reasons, and for an expected longer roof life. They plan to design and build two water features flowing into, through, and down away from the greenroof, spilling into a water garden replacing the existing paved driveway.

Ecoroofs Everywhere, the Northwest Ecobuilding Guild, and a Portland State University Construction Management class held an educational hands-on Greenroof 101 workshop during the final phases of installation.
