The Rende Wastewater Treatment Plant is a retrofit green roof with solar panels and was designed by HSIN Lin Ting Botany Garden.
The green roof helps the solar panels cool down (61.8 degreesC reduced to 36.4 degreesC).
The solar panels’ output power may be increased via the green roof (an increase of 23.3% power generation).
