A stunning new addition to the City of London’s office market is set for development, with the granting of planning consent for a new, 90,000 sq ft 10-story building at Monument. A multi-faceted facade as visual highlight on one of London’s greatest monuments, greenroof technologies create an environment that serves as a habitat for plants and animals as well as an artistic recreational zone for inhabitants.

The new structure, once complete, will replace what was 11-15 Monument Street, 46 Fish Street Hill and 1-2 Pudding Hill with about 88,000 squre feet (8,175 m2) of Grade A office space over nine floors, with floor plates offering approximately 10,000 sqft (929m2). The scheme also boasts four feature terraces with spectacular views to both the north and south, plus 4,000sqft (371m2) of ground-floor retail accommodation, a large reception area, state-of-the-art cycle storage and first-class shower facilities.

Designed to achieve a BREEAM ‘Excellent’ rating, The Monument Building features include LED lighting, a greenroof and photovoltaic panels. Completion is scheduled for May 2016.
