The green roof was installed over a new construction. The structure of the building was made of steel and the waterproofing membrane as a TPO membrane provided by Firestone. Les toits vertige installed a Xeroflor system, over 5 inches of soil XeroTerr. The total system weighs 62 pounds/sf.
The Xeroflor pregrown vegetated mats are composed of a drainage membrane, soil and 9 different species of sedum plants. It took approximately 4 days to complete the project. |
