The Woodhaven-Brownstown School District has been
replacing building roofs every summer as part of an
ongoing building maintenance program. Sustainable philosophy was adopted by the Woodhaven-Brownstown School District board of education, and a greenroof was approved.
In the summer of 2008, Bates Elementary had the roof over their gym area replaced with a Xero Flor greenroof system. Bates Elementary has the first building in the area to have a green roof. |
