| Kent County ISD is a vocational school servicing the surrounding Grand Rapids Area school districts with educational support systems. They have decided to set the highest standards for sustainable technology for its local school district peers. One way is to put green roofs on their buildings to limit rain water discharge and produce a plethra of other benefits. This will be the first green roof on a public school building in West Michigan. Our intent is to have each of our school clients adopting green roof technology by the 2015. |
|
| Design and system selection are still under consideration, but we are planning on a conventional roof membrane/insulation and either Xero Flor or LiveRoof as the extensive green roof system. |
