| The intensive green roof is installed over a multi-storey car park of a public housing project in Singapore. The project comprises 3 main roofs totalling over 20,000 m?, and the system consists of intensive planting; engineered soil of 1m; coarse sand of 50mm; a geotextile filter fabric; VersiCell sub-soil drainage modules; thermoplastic waterproofing membrane. |
|
| The type of planting and resultant load together with the high rainfall in Singapore imposed on the drainage layer makes the described green roof rather unique. |
