| This farm house in Viam?o is located in the province of Rio Grande do Sul with a roof slope of 30 degrees. The owner desired the application of Ecotelhado on the existing tile roof for thermal comfort. When construction was completed in last summer, 2005, the owner told us that for the first time he could feel it was cooler inside the house than outside. |
|
| The greenroof is comprised of the Ecotelhado system of a pre-vegetated rigid substrate (container). We first applied a geomembrane and then the "ecotelhas" or eco-tiles. It took two days. |
