According to the Washington Brick and Terra Cotta Company's website, "The Brick Companies' four-story, 38,000 square-foot corporate headquarters is the first Class A office building in the Edgewater area of Annapolis and the first living roof structure in Anne Arundel County...After 110 years, we moved from Washington, D.C. in 2002 and built our corporate headquarters near Annapolis in Edgewater, Maryland, to consolidate management that had expanded into three states. Many employees relocated to the Annapolis area and now enjoy a short commute and a much greater quality of life. We named our headquarters Renaissance Center to symbolize the changes, growth and re-birth we have experienced over the last 112 years. With one of the first ?Living Roof? installations in the County, our headquarters demonstrates our commitment to social responsibility and our environment." |
