| This demonstration greenroof and tool shed was designed and built by Shaw EcoDesign Corps youth, with training from D.C. Greenworks, as part of a larger LID demonstration at our office site in Shaw, Washington, D.C. |
|
| EcoDesign Corps youth designed and built the three-tier terraced shed roof so that passersby might see the greenroof from the street. Made from plywood, pond liner and leftover materials from larger jobs, the tiny greenroof is the only greenroof demonstration in a low-income neighborhood in D.C. As part of their project, the EcoDesign Corps youth also developed a presentation and workshop to the Shaw community. |
