| The GreenGrid™ Green Roof System, which arrives at the job site in preplanted modules, provides an excellent alternative to traditional built-up green roof systems. The modules are available in various sizes and can be placed on new or existing low-slope roofs. This modular green roof system can be placed directly on existing roofing surfaces that are in good condition and have sufficient structural capacity. The GreenGrid™ Green Roof System is available in ultra-extensive (2.5-inch) modules suitable for sedum species; extensive (4-inch) modules are suitable for sedum, wildflower and other shallow root plant species; and intensive (8-inch) modules suitable for wider variety of perennial species. The modules are planted and cared for at the nursery until they are shipped to the site for installation. Preset plant "palettes", developed by staff horticulturists, are available to allow customers to select plant species based on their hardiness zone, size, and color. The GreenGrid™ Green Roof System can be installed quickly and economically.
