AD Greenroof LLC is pleased to announce two internship opportunities ideal for Spring 2014 semester
We are looking for two students (3rd or 4th year) who are enthusiastic about the vegetated roof industry and looking to apply their academic training in real-world applications. The internships are unpaid, but do not require relocation and can be done on the student’s own schedule. The internships will have deliverables which may be required by their school; and oversight/education by AD Greenroof management. The internships are designed to teach students about working in the green roof industry, encourage independent time management, and allow for professional growth that essential to resume building.
One internship, the GREENFORMATION™ Campaign, focuses on marketing, communication, and managing a database of green roofs within the state of Minnesota. The other internship, Penfield Data, is science based. The intern’s project will be to create a scientific paper/presentation and literature review presenting local and regional research, and why this research is relevant to the community. The intern will also monitor the data and perform some statistical analysis (if time permits).
