Nirmal Kishnani, author of Ecopuncture book, will be discussing with Kongjian Yu, founder and principal of Turenscape.

Yu is one of China’s most prolific and influential landscape architects and planners. In addition to the many parks and master plans, he has shaped national land use policies that have transformed many Chinese cities.

One of the projects that will be discussed is the Shanghai Houtan Park. In this project, landscape architect and urban strategist Yu Kongjian advocated a new approach to urbanism, where his design creates a blue-green system for the production of clean water and biodiversity habitats.
