Tournesol Siteworks Announces Our New Website is Live!
Hayward, CA. (July 11, 2012) – Our first major website update since 2007 went live at the beginning of June. Because we've added so many different businesses since the last time around, the old website was getting creaky.
You'll find that the new site is a combination of product information, self-service web kiosk, and an image-rich blog. Most pages are downloadable and printable (usually in pdf format), including all our instruction manuals, guide specifications, and cut sheets. Behind a login page you'll find a complete set of drawings (in SketchUp, DWG, and PDF formats), as well as the capability of adding "favorites" to your account (for easy reference later).
The blog is more closely tied in to the site, and will be the place to go for installation images, product updates, and anything else current. As always, it is entirely searchable, which makes it easy to use. We think you'll find it a valuable tool.
Some of the major improvements you’ll find include:
Easier product search by category (pots, hanging planters, etc.) gets you where you want to go faster.
Full downloadable documentation on each product when you get there. One or two clicks will get you field manuals, guide specifications, pdf, dwg or sketchup drawings and models, etc.
Register as a user and you’ll be able to save products to a favorite folder for later reference.
We’ve reworked our materials & finishes page for most pots & planters. You’ll get a more accurate representation of the colors (although it still depends on your monitor – call for color samples to ensure the most true colors).
We’ve also integrated our blog into the website, so it’s quicker to get all the information you’d like on projects and installations of Tournesol projects. Remember, the website is fully searchable by product name or type.
We’d love to get your feedback (good and bad!) - email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
