Roofmeadow Welcomes Two New Employees
Philadelphia, PA., (June 12, 2012) – With the addition of two new employees Roofmeadow will broaden the scope of services offered to their clients.
Roofmeadow has hired Laura Hansplant, RLA, LEED AP as the Director of Design, and Paul Spirou, GRP, LEED AP, as a Project Field Specialist.
Laura Hansplant will be instrumental in expanding Roofmeadow’s landscape architectural design services. She is known for her ability to create designs for landscapes that explore the relationship between culture and the natural world, including intimate spaces that fuse environmental art, green infrastructure and social use. Laura comes to Roofmeadow from Andropogon Associates.
Laura is a member of the Board of Directors at the Delaware Valley Green Building Council.
Paul Spirou is an experienced project manager with an impressive history working for large design-build and general contracting firms. Paul will spend the majority of his time traveling the country, visiting Roofmeadow projects as they are assembled, monitoring the progress of each Roofmeadow green roof as it is constructed.
With deep roots in civil engineering, horticulture, soil science, and hydrology, Roofmeadow is a full-service green roof provider and consultant. For over a decade, they have worked with design firms around the country to provide living roofs customized to load constraint, water-management, climatic, architectural and landscaping requirements. To date, 100+ Roofmeadow® green roofs have been installed by the licensed Roofmeadow Network of green roof contractors, an elite, well-trained team of specialists in green roof installation and maintenance.
